Program Overview

Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Applied Nutrition is a one year programme. The course provides knowledge about human nutrition, balanced diets, food science, therapeutic nutrition, community nutrition, and diet planning for different age groups.  Students will learn how nutrition support health, prevent disaese and help in the recovery of patients. The programme combines classroom learning with practical training, case studies, and field exposure to develop professional skills. 

Through this course students will be able to improve their communication, counselling, and analytical abilities required to work with individuals and healthcare teams. 

At MIU experienced faculty members will guide students through a practical and industry focused curriculum. To apply, students must have completed a Bachelor degree in Dietetics & Applied Nutrition from a recognised university. After completing the programme graduates can work in hospitals, health centers, fitness organizations and food industries, research institutions and continue higher studies i.e M.Sc. Dietetics & Applied Nutrition.
