M.A. in Sociology is a postgraduate degree course that focuses on the study of society, human behaviour, social relationship, and cultural values. The course usually takes two years to complete and is divided into 4 semesters. The course covers subjects such as sociological, globalizations and social change. Students will learn how societies function and how social, economics, political and cultural factors. 

Students will develop analytical thinking, communication, research, and problem solving skills. They also learn to study social issues such as poverty, unemployment, education, health, gender equality and more. MIU M.A in Sociology can be pursued by students who have bachelor degree in recognised university. Students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks. After completing M.A. Sociology graduates can opt for job roles such as Sociologist, Social Researcher, Social Welfare Officer, Counselor, and more.
