The Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication is a one-year course that will provide learners with the basics of Journalism, media, and communication. The course enables the learners to acquire skills in areas such as writing news, reporting, editing, speech, digital media, and content creation. It provides knowledge on how print, television, radio and online media functions as well as the importance of communication in the current digital age.

This course prepares students practically for media, projects, reporting assignments, and communication activities that prepares them for real world challenges. The program covers media ethics, communication, public advertising, and the basics of media production. At MIU, students must have completed their bachelor degree from a recognized university and students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks.  This Diploma is ideal for students who wish to start a career in journalism, digital media, broadcasting, public relations, advertising, and more.
