B.Sc. in emergency & Trauma Care Technology is an undergraduate program offered for a 4 years of duration. It prepares students to handle medical emergencies. Candidates learn to provide first aid and basic life support. They are trained to assist doctors and nurses during emergencies. The course covers trauma care, ambulance services and patient transportation. Candidates also learn to use emergency medical equipment.

MIU offers this course in full time mode through  classroom learning with practical training in hospitals, emergency departments, and ambulance services. The course develops technical clinical, communication and patient care skills required to work in emergency departments, trauma centers, ambulance and intensive care units. To be eligible candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry and biology from a recognised board. After completing the degree  graduates can work in hospitals, trauma centers, emergency departments, ambulance services, intensive care units (ICU) and more.
