Program Overview
The B.A. in Dance is a three-year (six semesters) undergraduate program covering key areas such as classical dance forms (like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, etc.), folk dances, contemporary dance, choreography, dance theory, rhythm (taal), and stage performance.
The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical training through regular rehearsals, workshops, stage performances, and cultural events. Students gain hands-on experience in dance techniques, expressions (abhinaya), and choreography.
The program emphasizes creativity, discipline, and performance excellence, enabling students to express ideas through movement and art.
